Many of the products we sell are available in an Export version.
An export version of a PMR walkie-talkie, walky talkie, 27Mc radio is the same product as the standard but then everything at maximum.

Export cb radios are easy to recognize by the cooling ribs on the back. 4 watt cb radios do not have this.

For example. A standard PMR walkie-talkie / baby monitor may only have 0.5 watts.
Many people find this too little for their use. Despite the fact that manufacturers promise a range of 3 - 5 km, this is in practice
almost never the case.

And if it is possible to get more power from a device than it is officially allowed, then we also offer that.
Just to make possible what manufacturers promise and there is a lot of demand for.

Compare it to buying a Porsche with only 100 hp, while this one has 300 hp. You paid for that too.

It takes time and knowledge to modify a device, and also to provide service and warranty on what we sell.
So an export product is more expensive than the standard version.

You should also know that the use of these Export versions is not permitted. Possession is permitted.
It is your own responsibility.

You will never see the export options in user manuals or on boxes. After all, you are not allowed to use it in this way.
So even if it is not mentioned anywhere. If you buy an Export version from CBShop, it is set to maximum.

The cooling fins or sometimes just a cooling plate such as with the TTI TCB 1100 are the only features by which you can recognize an export 27 Mc radio. Or if it is 27 Mc channels more than 40. 400 channels divided over 10 banks is very normal at Export 27 Mc boxes.

We also advise you to use an antenna that is suitable for more than the standard 4 watt CB radios.
Many standard truck-mounted antennas are not suitable for more power.
A good antenna is just as important as good speakers on a nice audio set. So make sure that your antenna is good.
If your antenna cannot handle the power, or has a bad SWR (standing wave), this can result in a broken output stage, especially with export radios.
This is not covered by any brand's warranty. With many radios, an antenna is cheaper than a replacement output stage. So pay close attention to your antenna.

We at CBShop are happy to measure your antenna for you free of charge to prevent these kinds of problems.
When you come by, make sure we can reach the antenna connection of your CB radio.
Not that we have to remove it first. Then it is no longer free.

And we are often called or emailed that we have not sent an export version.

How else can you recognize an export version radio?

- Your warranty certificate shows the export number behind the brand and type.

- CB radios have a CBShop warranty seal.

- There is a letter next to the channel number if you have not chosen the 40 channel option.
