LPD, PMR, and Kenwood, frequencies
CBShop is of course known as a 27 Mc radio specialist since 1972.
It is clear that we do not have to rely solely on CB radio in all those years.
As a transmitting and receiving expert, we have been selling walkie-talkies to companies and institutions for years.
We are also an expert in this area and help many users find the walkie-talkie solutions that are suitable for them.
That is generally for companies with a permit.
But due to the digitalization of mobile communication, also in the walkie-talkie world, companies can easily work without a permit on the free walkie-talkie frequencies below.
With coding, CBShop can make your communication virtually eavesdroppable, but above all interference-free.
In Europe, you are allowed to use a number of frequencies freely.
In addition to the well-known 40 27 Mc channels, there are also channels available for walkie-talkie use.
The most commonly used of these are the PMR channels. 8 channels that are used for everything and anything.
From baby monitors to business communication.
You may use these channels with tone codes.
With these tone codes you can ensure that others on the channel without the same tone code cannot get through.
The maximum power that you may use freely is half a Watt. (0.5 Watt)
You may only use walkie-talkies with the approved antenna.

EXPORT TWO-WAY RADIOS
With export version two-way radios there are possibilities to work with more power and a different antenna.
This will significantly increase the range. Many two-way radios can be supplied with 5 watts and often have
an external antenna connection.
KENWOOD CHANNELS
Kenwood has 16 special PMR channels with the tone codes already included for its professional PMR two-way radios.
This ensures that you only use the same channels with other Kenwood walkie-talkies and can be heard.
CBShop can also program these channels (if possible) in other brands of walkie-talkies in consultation.

LPD CHANNELS
In addition to the frequently used PMR channels, there are also 69 LPD channels available for use.
However, the maximum power here is 0.10 MWatt. Which is very little.
However, with LPD channels you have much more choice, and certainly not all walkie-talkies on the market can handle these channels. That already gives more peace on these channels as standard.

Tone codes
CTCSS codes. Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System
These codes are used to work with multiple users on the same frequency without hearing each other.
Think of it as a key. The person with the same code will hear you and you will hear him.
The person without a code will also hear you, but you will not hear him.
This is especially useful on PMR channels. Brands such as Kenwood also use it.
